In this exercise portfolio I want to address the youth, ages 11- 18; primarily kids in grades fourth through twelfth. Providing different stretching techniques used before and after an athletic event, specifically during and after a basketball game or pick up. There is a lot of dynamics during basketball games, which increases risks of hamstring sprains, ankle sprains, MCL and ACL injuries; which can be prevented if kids understand the techniques that will provided in this portfolio. The goal is to prevent season ending injuries for teens who are engaged in club sports or high school varsity teams.
