The Revolution war effected everyone life in every region in America, especially the wives and mothers of the soldiers that fought in the war. However, some women didn't want to get left behind, so they joined the men that went off to war. At first, every men in the war was furious of the idea of women joining the army. They felt like women should stay back home and help with the homes, while they fight for their country. They also felt like the women were distracting them and causing their anxiety to rise because they felt like it was a violation of the traditional gender roles.
