Sports are more than just practices and games. I am a three sport athlete. I've played soccer since I was 4 years old. I started to play basketball my 5th grade year. And I started to play volleyball my 7th grade year. I still play all three sports to this day. I think my favorite sport would have to be basketball. Basketball has made a big impact on my life. When I’m on the court I am a totally different person and my mindset is different. I have that special connection with basketball that on the court I can achieve anything and then when it’s time to step off I still have my mindset as I can achieve anything I work hard enough for. It wasn’t easy but when ever I had a bad day or felt down on myself I know I could go shoot some hoops to clear my mind off things. I am an outside hitter but can play any spot if really needed. I have lots of memories already will this team. There is only four sophomores on the jv team and there are I think 8 freshmen. My parents are divorced. I live with my mother and younger brother. I see my dad every wednesday and thursday and every other weekend. Having a family that is split up and not together is very hard but I try my best to make everything work. I know my younger brother has a hard time with going from house to house. I think seeing my family not together and arguing a lot makes me want to make sure I don't put my kids throw the same thing my brother and I did. I love my parents for everything they do for me and I wish I would be more thankful at times. Someone that is really important to me is my best friend. Her name is Sydnee Little, she’s a freshmen this year. We do everything together. I don’t know what I would do if it wasn’t for her. I can tell her anything and she understands.
