In Kristen Hannah’s, The Nightingale, Isabel demonstrates traits of motivation, strong, and brave. Isabel wants to help out anyway she can with the war but many reasons and people get in her way. Annouk, Isabel’s friend, led Isabel to Gaetan, the person who told Isabel she could not help with the war, and Isabel told Gaetan she has a plan.
