The opposite of being emotionally stable would be emotional instability or neuroticism. People who are emotionally unstable tend to experience negative emotions such as fear, depression and anger. They see ordinary situations to be stressful. Openness to experience: A person who is open to experience is willing to experience new and exciting things in life. It reflects creativity and variety a person has. People with this personality type have an appreciation for art, curiosity, creativity and unusual things. People with this trait in the workplace tend to be more creative when coming up business ideas or solutions to problems. People who lack in this trait tend to be closed minded, they aren’t creative thinkers. They often analyse a new experience before trying it out. Difference between behaviour and personality: Behaviour is actions conducted by humans. Personality on the other hand is what values each individual has and what makes us different. Managers would benefit from this test as they would be able to understand the way their employees act within the workplace and would be able to set up training programs to improve communication between workers and their managers.
