The American Sniper “I’ve lived the literal meaning of “land of the free” and “home of the brave.” It’s not corny to me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest. Even at a ballgame, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.” Chris Kyle is the definition of a true American. Labeled a legend by his peers, Kyle made a huge impact on his military family and on our country as a whole. Not only was Kyle notorious to his fellow militants, but also to his opponents. Wayne was a deacon and Deby worked as a Sunday school teacher. As a young boy, Chris enjoyed hunting deer and peasants. Chris went to college to study agriculture. His studies took place at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. Chris began working on a ranch following his studies at the university. Shortly after, he took an interest in bronco riding. His bronco riding career ended abruptly when he sustained an injury to his arm.
