Nickelodeon has been used the 4Ps which are Product, Price, Promotion and Place to market the SpongeBob SquarePants animation series. First is the promotion and place used in SpongeBob SquarePants animation series. The company advertise the animation through TV channel. The animation will be screened on the children's channel of CCTV, the Chinese national broadcaster which has while aired on MTV Networks' Nickelodeon channel in other countries such as United States. In 2005, Bill Roedy, the president of MTV Networks International was popularized the SpongeBob programming via mobile phone networks for spectators of Japan and China. The show's title was SpongeBob SquarePants. He added "SquarePants" as a family name because of it's descriptive and "had a nice ring to it". In 1997, Stephen Hillenburg the name of main character was changed to "SpongebBob" instead of "SpongeBoy". SpongeBob was designed as a sink sponge with yellow skin and become perfect which is clean and square, just like the innocent and un-hip SpongeBob. For the background of this anime, Stephen Hillenburg choose Bikini Bottom as a must-see outpost of popular culture. SpongeBob lives in a pineapple because he thought SpongeBob "would like the smell" of a pineapple house. The smell is crucial sense for sea animals. Before starting the production series, Hillenburg wanted SpongeBob SquarePants to be storybroad-driven, rather than script-driven. SpongeBob also approaches life in a wayward and unique way instead of taking the logical approach to everyday challenges. This is because kid are more prefer to watch the show with funny actions such as slapstick and gross humor compare to the show just follow the script. Besides that, unlike others shows on the Nickelodeon network, SpongeBob features famous independent musicians who contribute the soundtrack such as Wilco, the Shins and Ween(who has contribute the song "Ocean Man" to the movie soundtrack), as well as bands Pantera and Twisted Sister have made appearances on the show and
