Why do many humans argue about the use of DDT, also known as Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane? DDT was invented by Paul Mueller in 1939. DDT is an organic chemical substance used as an insecticide. The use of DDT in American has been quite controversial. Many people believe the use of DDT is good, while others think it is terrible. DDT use would aid against malaria in less developed countries, but due to its harmful effects, the risks outway the benefits for use in the United States.
