Robin Williams once said “Comedy is acting out your Optimism”(Imbd.com). In some way, shape, or form, all are comedians, even if people do not see it. Mr. Williams was a great comedian, actor, writer, producer, and anything that would have something to do with movies that he most likely did. Any role that was meant to make people laugh like movies he was usually cast. He loved to act, and he loved to make people laugh once he said “Laughter is the greatest medicine”( imdb.com). Williams has changed society’s perception of how people see comedy and how it makes them feel. William’s got his first big acting job in 1977. Then in 1980, he finally made it to the big screen with the world famous movie Popeye, which later became a television show. In 1981 he was in the TV show “Mork and Mindy” than as time went on he was in “Happy Days” a popular TV show that had Mork the strange alien in it (Biography Robin williams). Williams’s had gotten more and more acting offers. He often played people with a mental instability and/or a deep capacity for violence. This made him a unique actor because usually the actors were always the same and acted the same as the other actors. In 1993 William’s had gotten an acting job playing a divorced old women named Mrs. Doubtfire. That movie became a huge success in the same year (Biography Robin Williams).Some of the salaries that Williams had made with some of his movies were $35,000 per half hour episode in “Mork and Mindy” in 1978, $500,000 in “Popeye” in 1980, $100,000 in “Aladdin” in 1992, $15,000,000 in “Jumanji” in 1995, $20,000,000 in “Bicentennial Man” in 1999, $65,000 in “The Night Listener” in 2006, and $1,000,000 in “Man of the Year” in 2006 (Biography Robin Williams).
