Introduction to the Early life of Prophet Muhammed- (SAW) Prophet Muhammad was born in the town of Mecca in the Arabian Peninsula in 570 ce,a part of modern-day Saudi Arabia.His father passed away shortly after marriage, his grandfather ‘Abd al-Muttalib then became his guardian. ‘Abd al-Muttalib was the revered head of the social group of Hashim and therefore the tribe of Quraysh, to that his social group belonged. With the Quraysh being the most important and most powerful tribe in Mecca, ‘Abd al-Muttalib was seen as the master of all of Mecca. The Quraysh had a special status in Mecca because they used to be accountable of the sacred Ka’ba.
