As Catholics, we believe that we are the children of God and that we are the beauty of his creations but as creations of God, we were made not to be perfect but to be human. There are many flaws in the world we live in, starting with ourselves. We, as humans can often be blinded to what truly matters and what not. We get caught up in ourselves, we forget about that there are other people in the world, some I might say have it harder than we do. A question we should all be asking ourselves is, “why do we live?” it might sound like an easy question but it’s more complex than that. Life is difficult. It’s the feeling of loneliness like you can’t and never can tell someone about it, but that’s where you're wrong. We’re always going to have problems in life. It’s how it is but it doesn’t mean you should give up. No matter what pain isn’t permanent, it’ll go away, some might take more time than others but it will fade. The problem is we don’t always make our wounds heal, sometimes we cling to it. We are easily blinded to the fact that you have people that we are willing to help you, it's not always clear but they're there. Don’t think because one or two people in your life aren’t quite nice to you, that it means everyone is like that. Surround yourself with people that make you happy and content because Suicide is a very serious matter. It’s not something you can just shake off when you hear someone commit it. You’ll get through it, if there’s one person that you can count on to listen and never judge you, it’s God. He’s always there watching from above and as Catholics, God taught us to be more considerate and kind to others. We as brother and sisters need to care and support one another because we are what God gave to us. We are a gift to each other. We are
