The punishment of death can be brutal, since 1 out of 3 people that is convicted to death is innocent. Because death penalty was restored 1,976,262 black people have been convicted for the murder of a white person where only 12 white’s had stes been convicted for the murder of a black person. The family has choices to give the killer death or life imprisonment, but in their perspective death penalty might prevent these causes to ever occur again. The death penalty is a cruel way to punish people who has done certain crime, since their lives are being taken away from getting an injection by others and it manifest the U.S. as a vicious state. Sentence of execution has brought guilt upon victims’ families and the act of forgiveness is better than justice.
