Personal Narrative: My Trip To Florida

Last year my family and my aunt went to Florida. It was the first year we took my aunt with us. She had never been to Florida before on vacation. It took one and a half days to get there. We stayed in a cottage. Our house was only a few feet from the beach. On the way to pick up my aunt at her house we had to drive back to ours twice to make sure we had everything. When we were all loaded into the car it was about 7:00p.m. I was tired and took a nap. When I woke up at 1:00a.m. we were still in Illinois. The car ride was very boring. We got there and unpacked. The first night we walked down the beach to a restaurant. It was too crowded and we had to leave. Instead, we went to the grocery store and bought salmon and beef. "That's because you're bitter!" I added.They started laughing and almost spit out their drinks. The place we were staying had the "readers digest condensed books." I had read three by the end of the trip. My sister and I decided to play a game where you each had a book, turned to a random page and read a passage or just a word. Even though the books were completely different, the stories halfway made sense. The fact that they made sense was even funnier. The cottage was small so the rooms were close. It was about 11:00p.m. and we were laughing so much my mom came in to make sure we were breathing. Our neighbors were not very nice. We had a basketball hoop by the side of our house. The condo next to us decide to bring their own ball and play until late at night. It wouldn't be a problem besides the fact that the ball kept hitting the side of the house and making lots of noise. Also, three people had a volleyball and played that at 8am and I was not happy. The only good thing about getting up early was going for doughnuts. The doughnut shop was right across the street. It was very crowded and if you wanted anything you had to order
