In the society I grew up in, most of the people I knew just followed along with what others were doing. Kids were taught to follow in others footsteps and try to be like them. However that was never good enough for me. I always craved to be better than others. I always wanted to be the person that everyone else followed. So in school I tried my hardest. In middle school I joined the avid program we had because those kids were the role models of the class. I joined asb too because those were the kids with the most school spirit. As soon as I got to high school I kinda lost myself, I was stuck in this huge new school with a bunch of new people. How was I supposed to become a leader?
