Two well known artists of the 20th century, Pablo Picasso and Marcel Duchamp are known to be the most influential artist of their time. Picasso, with his very unique style and Duchamp with his very direct artwork, have influenced many artist to this day. Both sharing the common fame, they also have many differences. Pablo Picasso has influenced others by the diversity in his artwork. His goal wasn't to pursuay his artwork as he grew, but to make each piece stand out like it would be his best. With his ambition to create the best effect, he put all dedication in to every individual piece. As Picasso grew up, he had always found a passion for art, even at an early age. Picasso remained sketching, but as he got older he found himself hanging around other artist with very intelletual views. The views that his anarchist friends had began to pursuay him to change up his style. After many years of being taught modern art, Picasso went ahead with his own unique style. Not knowing that his unique style would eventually come to being the new type of art for artist even to this day. As Picasso kept growing into his new style, he found himself taking on life itself. Picasso went through a time of depression, which became known as the "Blue Period" considering every piece of artwork he created in this time was a dark blue color. Even in depression Picasso found a way to create a famous painting "BLue Nude".(ADD DETAILS))))) Following his depression came along with a new period, which we found Picasso much happier. This was the "Rose Period", because in this time period Picasso found himself in love with artist Ambroise Vollard. Of cource being in love will bring warmth and joy inside, so with Picasso now in a more pink/red stage he created one piece of art "Two Nudes"(DETAIL). Just like Picasso, Duchamp always had artwork a main priority for he found his interest through his own family, which were artist as well. He had two older brothers, and a sister which by watching, and learning from their art he was able to create many great pieces of work. Marcel was still new to his own style, but with the help from his family he created his first piece, "Portrait of Marcel Lefrancois", which he then learned the style of technique he had. During his early artist days, Marcel also drew many cartoons for comic magazines. Not as serious as Picasso yet, but later while in Paris he experianced the famous modern style of art, "Cubism" which he found very fasinating just like Picasso. Another form of style Marcel found was Postimpressionism((DATA). Postimpression was the style that became Marcel's favorite, however he found himself to be a Dada Artist. This type of artist had the style Dada Art, which began in response to the opposition to WW1. Duchamp found that many of his paintings incorporated this type of style. He would use an object that we see everyday, put it with something very unususal and would create his own unique piece of art. Many people became a fan of his unordinary art, which led Duchamp to an inspirational artist. Duchamp then found himself beoming very popular in his very differen't type of art.
