Operation Geronimo was a successful foreign policy decision in 2011. After September 11, 2001, the Congress approved the Commander in Chief, George W. Bush could use force against Al Qaeda, which included Osama Bin Laden. Under the U.S. constitutional plan, the president could direct the National Command Authority to use force against Al Qaeda. President Obama had legal authority and the executive to plan and order the operation. In Abbottabad, Pakistan Bin Laden showed no signs of surrender, but was shot twice by Special Operation Forces once in the chest and the head.
