Lower Log Campsite The Lower log campsite is located in Whiteriver, AZ on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. It’s approximately 25 minutes outside of Show Low near Bear Flat Creek. It’s far enough away from town to enjoy the peace, yet close enough for occasional quick trips to the store. Large green pine trees surround each campsite along with many of nature’s animals such as cows, wild horses and birds. There are numerous activities such as fishing for trout, hiking through the trails and quiet time with the family. My family and I visit lower log once in the summer and once in the fall. We have favored a specific campsite where we park our travel trailer. Our travel trailer has a shower, a bathroom, beds and a kitchen. It’s our home away
