NHS is a group that can help benefit my future, but also shape my work ethic, and help me contribute to my community. To be a part of this group would be a huge honor, and would be an amazing way for me to evolve as a person. By being a part of this group there are two main things that I would hope to contribute to our NHS chapter and the community. First I would hope to set an example to people who are aspiring to get good grades in high school, and that want to become a part of NHS. Secondly, I would like to benefit the community by doing more community service through NHS and individually, such as working at our local food pantry. In the long run, NHS can help improve how hard I will work for something, how I help my community, and the positive decisions I will make in life. One thing I hope to gain in the next year of NHS, if I am accepted, is to see how other NHS members benefit the community and what their character traits are. I believe that I would be a good candidate for NHS because I am hardworking, trustworthy, and reliable. There are three main character traits that I possess, would make me a good NHS candidate.
