In the classic children's short story, “Rikki Tikki Tavi”, Rudyard Kipling describes his main character, Rikki Tikki, by using indirect characterization. As Rikki-Tikki person, as normal animal would just stare and be too intimidated by the snake to react to attacks by Nag.
