I found the article, "Mom was right - honesty is the best policy". This article was written by Kim States, who is the CEO of the BBB of Southern Arizona. The article talks about the lack of honesty that comes from used car salespeople and dealerships. This particular article discussed how a consumer purchased a used car with broken locks and the dealership gave the individual a written note to come back at a later date to have them fixed. When the consumer came back, the dealership did not honor the note and told the consumer that the salesperson that they worked with was no longer working there. The consumer made a complaint to the BBB, but the dealership did not respond to her complaint. Another complaint was made against this same dealership
