Have you ever been in an emergency room and overhear the nurses and doctors converse with one another, and you’re trying to follow with them, and then they start using terms that you are unfamiliar. For example, instead of them saying the patient injured their ankle, you would more than likely hear something like the “patient sprained their talus”, or “the patient left femur is of concern”, the list goes on and on. One of the things that signifies a career, is the terminology. Almost every career and /or organization shares a special terminology. You don’t usually see lawyers using the terms of doctors and vice versa. Careers and terminology correlates with one another very closely. I say this because I finally landed a job in the health care
