Claim: NASA said that its Kepler spacecraft has spotted "Earth's bigger, older cousin": the 1st almost Earth-sized planet to be found in a fit to live in zone of a star similar to ours. Although NASA can't say for sure whether the planet has water, air, or is rocky like ours, it's the closest match yet found. Evidence: The planet, Kepler-452b, is about 1,400 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. Studies say that it is about 60% larger than Earth and has twice the amount of gravity that of Earth's. NASA also says that it is located in its star's habitable zone.
