Hunting has been part of human life since its origination, it has been written in our genetic code. Before the days of supermarkets and farmland the only source of food for a young group of nomadic humans was the hunting of large animals. Now that humans have many modern comforts like the food store, hunting is not a way of life for most, but for some it is more of activity. This activity is a cruel, especially when you do not plan to use the entire animal. Animal poaching is become all too common, and humans are to blame. However, none of the animals that humans kill are as dangerous as the animal behind the gun shooting at them. therefor humans are the most dangerous game for multiple reasons, yet the main is the human's ability to think and reason, coupled with humans arrogance and lack of empathy for other makes them the perfect killer. One portion of the article that clearly shows that point is stated here, "Poachers with machetes hacked another baby rhino more than two dozen times as it stayed near the body of its mother, but it recovered at the orphanage." The pure brutality that is attached to that statement, attacking a young animal after killing its mother, just horrible. Another quote that illustrates how dangerous man is, "Poachers will "go for any little bit" of horn, even from a baby rhino whose horns are emerging, said Dex Kotze," that is pure insanity. If a man did that to another man then there would be serious penalties, however since it is just an animal, nothing will ever happen unless sweeping changes are made to how we act toward animals. The final quote that proves how dangerous humans are is here, "On one occasion, poachers were on their way to the orphanage but their gang had been infiltrated by an undercover agent from South African intelligence and the suspects were arrested, according to Benavides, the vet."It's
