Football Genius We have all heard of him some of us love him and others not so much. He is known for being one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. He had an incredible upbringing as a child and that plays a big part of where he is today. Peyton Manning an extraordinary football player that is known for breaking records and winning games. Not only is Peyton a winner he is known for his leadership skills and the ability to push teammates to better themselves. Manning's. Archie, was a football star, playing quarterback in college at University of Mississippi and for various NFL teams from the 1970s to 1980s. Peyton and his brothers all played football at a young age. Peyton continued to play Through high school and he was obviously a great player. He attended the University of Tennessee where he was third string and continued to work his way up becoming Tennessee’s all-time leading passer with 11,201 yards and 89 touchdowns he left college winning 39 out of 45 games played. Peyton went to the draft in 1998 and was the very first pick in the first round by the Indianapolis Colts. Over the years Peyton has been in 12 Pro Bowls, had 7 AFC Offensive Player of the Year awards, was 2007 Super Bowl XLI champion and MVP,4 NFL MVP awards. His achievements have got him in the hearts of football fans across America, and they have named him one of the most popular quarterbacks.
