PO Box 607 San Andreas,CA 95249 October 3, 2014 Mr.James McBride PO Box 829 New York, NY 10108 Dear Mr.McBride I just currently read your article “Hip Hop Planet”, in which you showed how you used to hate Hip Hop, but how you now think of Hip Hop as an art form.I understand that why you wrote this article in recognizing how the world is growing for its love for Hip Hop.You showed how you at first hated Hip Hop ,and that even though you tried to avoid it you couldn't.Then you learned to embrace it because you knew that there was no way in escaping it.The inspiration of Hip Hop came from the Bronx,and came from those who were less fortunate than others.You also learned that Hip Hop has so many cultural values, that its pointless to avoid…show more content…
I agree with how you thought that Hip Hop “was the most ridiculous thing that I’d ever heard”.Whenever my parents drive by a car that’s blasting Hip Hop music I just want to break their speakers!Whenever it comes on the radio I change it to something that I like because I’m sick of this kind of music,but I agree that we must appreciate the artistic part of Hip Hop.When you compared how Hip Hop influences violence to our National Anthem “bombs , bursting in air”, you made a very logical point on how Hip Hop is very much the same with many songs including our National Anthem.Even though you made a very good point I’m not necessarily going to go out and by the latest Hip Hop CD, but I might listen to it more often whenever it comes on the radio.Your essay was strong because of how well you used your anecdote about your worst nightmare ever which was how your daughter came and told you that ”daddy were getting married” .This part was really funny because I liked how you described how the person was dressed based on how you despise Hip Hop.I loved how you used a lot of pathos which was very humorous to me, such as how “Bill had just slapped a guy,a total stranger ,in the face right in front of me.I also appreciated how you told the readers where Hip Hop
