Fireworks: Video Analysis

When we think of fireworks we think of burst of energy. An array of colors and sounds, which results in "Ooos" and "Ahhhs". After watching the video I discovered a few similarities between the energy levels and states of the Hydrogen; as presented in the video, and the wonderful display of light and sound known as fireworks. Just like a hydrogen electron at ground state, a firework that has not been lit is stable. But when the fuse is lit the firework goes into an excited state; just as the hydrogen electron would when it goes from a low to a high energy level. Alas all good things must come to an end, and as the firework finishes its show and dissipates, so does the hydrogen electron go back to a stable state. We know that as the electrons
