Abstract Humanoid robots are the most advanced technology human will attain in the future. And i also believe that humanoid robots will do the most welfare service for handicapped and aged humans in the future it will also the most demanded technology in the pharmaceutical and surgical field and other various field in the future. Among the man - made technology such as automobile,cmc, cell-phones and other multimedia device, humanoid robots of the future will hopefully be the most ideal assistants the human who knows it may even replace us in future. Manny, a full-scale android body, was completed by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in 1989. Manny had 42 degrees of freedom, but no intelligence or autonomous mobility. Rodney Brooks and his team at MIT started in 1993to construct the humanoid upper-body Cog. It was designed and built to emulate human thought processes and experience the world as a human[1]. Another milestone was the Sony Dream Robot, unveiled by Sony in the year 2000. The small humanoid robot, which was later called Qrio, was able to recognize faces, could express emotion through speech and body language, and could walk on flat as well as on irregular surfaces. The Laws of Robotics: The term robotics was coined in the 1940s by the science fiction writer Issac Asimov. In a series of novels and stories, he imagined mechanical robot being helpmate to humanbeings. They were constrained to obey what have become known as Asimov's Laws of Robotics: 1.A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. 2.A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. 3.A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second
