California Disaster When most people think of California, they imagine Hollywood and dreams coming to life. However, California destroyed my dreams and demolished any chance I had at a peaceful life. Three months ago, Zeus, the king of the Gods and the ruler of mankind, summoned me to his headquarters to discuss my destiny.
“Destroy the demon birds that are incapacitating all of California.” Zeus ordered. “The demon birds possess and murder any living creature that oppose them. They complete these transgressions by dropping acidic feces onto their enemies. You must be extremely careful, yet courageous. Do not trust anyone, the birds are always playing tricks on you. When I spotted the first demon bird, I didn’t destroy it until I was sure that my endeavors had worked. Then my arrow went flying. This process was time consuming, but every time I discovered a demon bird, their population decreased by one, and that’s what mattered.
Three weeks later, I had defeated one hundred demon birds when, all of a sudden, I stumbled upon a huge mansion. At least thirty-three of the dreadful creatures were circling the roof of the building. I knew that this wasn’t another abandoned house; my enemies were within 300 feet of my location.
