Product quality management is a very essential part of productivity which demands inspection of the product for quality at every stage. Infusion of quality at the beginning itself along with production quality control will ensure less wastage of raw materials for quality. 4) End the practice of awarding business on price tag alone. The minimization of total cost would play an important role. Companies should focus on dealing with a single supplier for any item. Having a single supplier establishes a bond of trust ad loyalty leading to positive developments. 5) Constantly and forever improve the system of production and service. Indefinite growth is important perspective for all organizations that hope to achieve growth and prosperity. A worker would fail to comply by quality performance if a constant fear dreads him/her back in the mind. Even those potentially strong would not work at their maximum strengths. Thus it is also very important that fear is driven out of workers to achieve quality productivity. 9) Break down barriers between staff areas. All sorts of departments collaborating and working together can bring about significant quality assurance management with higher profitability. Barriers should be eliminated to increase performance and growth. 10) Eliminate numerical goals for the work force. This again is one of the utmost requirements. The company needs to discourage the ideas of quantity which in turn cause adverse effects on quality management processes. The focus should be concentrated on quality control in management. 11) Eliminate work standards and numerical quotas. Remove barriers that deprive the hourly worker of his right to pride of workmanship. The concern of supervisors must be altered from utter numbers to quality. 12) Remove barriers that hinder the hourly worker. Supervisor duty must be concentrated on quality, not numbers.
