Cyrus the great wasn’t called by order but was called the great by his people. Cyrus the great created the structure of the empire, he had a policy of tolerance, and the role of the satrap. He wasn’t just a military savvy but a political genius too. “I am Cyrus, founder of the empire of Persia and king of Asia.” (Cyrus the Great). He was the founder of the Persian Empire and made it leave a mark in history as he was considered as an ideal monarch. His way of ruling made him look more like a liberator than a conqueror. Even thought the branches of government were not know by the Persian, Cyrus and Darius I new how to control their empire. The Persian with one of the biggest empires had to figure out a way to control its people so they would not rebel against them.
