The Philippine Government declares that prices of basic commodities remain stable, which is contradicting to Government statistics that reveal an increase of prices due to oil price hikes, although rice, sugar, and dressed chicken’s prices have either declined or not moved. Therefore, with this in mind, it is essential for every possible consumer to be aware even with tiny details. Secondly, Lee Super Plaza has a higher capacity for products thus giving it the ability to stock more of a product and more different products. Lastly, Cang’s Incorporated’s Customer Service is more satisfying than that of Lee Super Plaza. The meat was resupplied on a daily basis and the shelves were fully stocked. But the problem with this is that some, but not all, of the products did not have price stickers on them, which would then lead into a mishap in the counter where the sales lady or the bag boy have to scramble and search for the product in the shelves. This is due to mismanagement of the employees. In Lee Super Plaza, the products are already unpacked and put on the shelves so when you buy in bulk you would have to wait for the bag boy to get an empty box, creating more traffic in the counter. In line with our research, our survey results say Cang’s Incorporated is the cheaper. But the researcher believe that the participants did not take into consideration the freshness, condition or quality of the products being sold. Product quality reflects customer needs, and those needs may not coincide with other industry standards. Customers who are satisfied with their initial purchase will regard the product as a quality item and will be happy to repurchase it at a later date.
