I have chosen to to do my paper on Bethany Hamilton because of the fact that she is a very inspiring person to look up to. The reason that I am saying this is because of the fact that she has been surfing for quite some time now. Even though she got attacked by a 14-foot tiger shark, which bit off her left arm and seemed to end her career as a rising surf star. A little bit of information about her is that she is very inspirational and spiritual in her Christian faith, and this brings in the fact that Bethany is involved in numerous charitable efforts, including her own foundation, Friends of Bethany, which reaches out to encourage amputees and youth by offering hope to overcome through Jesus Christ. The most important thing that I would like to talk about Bethany Hamilton is the way that she is so energetic, always inspirational and always ready to be back out on the water to do what she most loves to do, her surfing career.…show more content… Even with having this happen to her she got her doctors stuff all resolved and everything and she went back on the water to continue what she loves to do the most with her lifelong career.
