The importance of beat down trunks, and what emotion or thought ran through my mind at that moment of finding a part of my ancestors, and life before mine. The shut closed part of the trunks, shows how I feel trapped most of the time, because of me not knowing much of my past, my memory is a fog as it was in the room when entering, and symbolizing how unknowingly put away my memory, without even realizing it. And the trunks are a heirloom , that was past down to me by my mother who knew nothing of it till that day, but I feel it is my grandmother up in heaven telling me that she’s still with me, and she will always be looking for the things I cherish most for the best of me. My bond between my grandmother and me will continue on till eternity.
