1. Explain your ideal working environment. State why you prefer this environment. (minimum 250 words) My ideal working environment expands from only just the area that I work in but of course the people I work with, the organization behind my work, and the cooperation of people that I work with. Police work is eighty percent paperwork so I expect an efficient area to work in to do administrative work suck as reports and filling out other documents. If you have an organized area to do paperwork and the core of work within law enforcement then you will not be able to do assignments correctly and a very important document can go filled out incorrectly. I expect my ideal working environment to be strongly organized all around when it comes to operations on and off the field, whether it's standard patrolling to special divisions like Special Weapons and Tactics.…show more content…
For example if patrolling units aren't organized as to their priorities then it can cost them lives like if an Officer goes after a suspect who is fleeing instead of tending to the injured victim or if they respond to pursuits instead to an Officer down. I also believe that an ideal working environment requires cooperation all around from co-workers, civilians, other agencies, and most importantly their supervisors. Without cooperation you will not have a team, you will have a group of people working for no one but themselves which will cause failure within the agency and danger will not be contained within the city. The reason why I feel like this is my ideal environment is because it is the most simplistic way to have success in a team based department like law
