n our society today, we are constantly innovating and designing. In our means, we try to push each other to create new things. Classes now include Robotics, Digital Design, Art, and Band. But what happens if all of a sudden it stopped? We pull these classes, shutdown kids’ imaginations, take away their sense of wonder. In the book by Ayn Rand called Anthem, a young man called Equality 7-2521 grows up in a collectivist state. This means that this society works for each other. They dismiss all actions for themselves and put their “brothers” first. “It is a sin to think words no others think and to put them down upon a paper no others are to see.” (17). “They existed only to serve the state. they were conceived in controlled Palaces of Mating.
