Film Review: Moving Away From Moving To Iowa

In the film Ray moves away from home as not only a way to escape from his father, but also to go to a university. Ray and Annie meet while attending the school, he points out “that the only thing we had in common was that she came from Iowa and I had once heard of Iowa.” In the film it isn’t until after graduation that they end up moving back to Iowa. In the written story Ray and Annie have a strange relationship to say the least. The way everything is worded leads me to believe that Ray was a pedophile to a certain degree. Allow me to explain this belief. In the movie Ray moved to go to college, in the written story I’m amusing when it says Ray moved to Iowa to study, that this was suggesting that he moved there to go to college
