Teacher Tracy Sutherland assigned her 9th grade English class to write about contemporary problems using the writing style and characters of Animal Farm. In doing so she reflected on the how the book spoke to her today as a teacher. Sutherland sees the problem with the education system in the fact that there is constant policy change and reform without a strong foundation to grow upon.
