They are supporters of the LGBTQ+ community Front man Matty Healy isn’t shy when it comes to supporting the LGBTQ+ community. ‘I like it when you sleep for you are so unaware of it’ contains a track called ‘loving someone’, originally this song was an observation of society. However, after the Orlando shooting in 2016, The 1975 now performs this song with the pride flag and with the stage lights in the same colors as the flag.
