The position of Xavier University’s sustainability goals brings opportunities of brand positioning for the Xavier community. By highlighting sustainable practices locally, educating and informing the current community and prospective community; we leverage recruitment efforts for admissions and create recognition nationally. Our customers relate to the already popular and continuing trend of giving back to the earth, or “go green.” While many colleges participate in going green, as the winner of the 2015 NACUFS Gold award for waste management in sustainability; Xavier University holds a title many colleges do not.
