A boy awakens in what appears to be an elevator. He has no recollections of his past life, other than that his name is Thomas. The door opens, and Thomas sees a group of teenage boys peering down at him. They throw him a rope and although he’s hesitant, he grabs it and is pulled out into a strange world. Thomas is greeted with a phrase he’ll never forget: “Welcome to the Glade.” Thomas is the main character from the Maze Runner Trilogy. At first, Thomas is skeptical about the Glade and the crazy labyrinth that surrounds his new home. He is a natural leader and finds it hard to constantly do as he’s told, when he has so many questions.
