Nonverbal messages are a way of getting a message across without using words. The messages are generally visual and can be interpreted through movements, facial expressions and body language. In the movie "Victor Victoria" the characters are constantly using nonverbal cues. These cues carry significant messages that help interpret the film in a broader way. These ways of carrying nonverbal messages express the characters emotions without them having to express it verbally.
Victoria is an aspiring singer trying to make it big in Paris. She does not succeed at the beginning up until she meets Toddy and her luck starts changing. Toddy then tells Victoria to pretend to be a man and sing like one so she can have a better chance at becoming famous.
