A practical implication for managing the veteran cohort is allowing the vet to interact with other co-workers. One can do this, by placing the veteran on a team full of diversity. This will allow the veteran to feel as though they are important and their ideas are one of the companies up most concerns. The veteran that was interviewed was an 81 year old woman, who stated that she enjoyed working in groups because it gave her the interaction with people that she was not getting at home.
