The Urban Legend of Bloody Mary is Fake

As a child, I heard of the urban legend of bloody Mary but never believed in it. I recalled going into the bathroom, turning the lights off, and calling her name three times but nothing ever happened. Could it be that I left out the flickering candle, or could it be an urban legend that’s totally fictional?
Hello my name is KaTrena Moore and I’m going to explain to you why I don’t believe in urban legends.
I read the story of The Bloody Mary Ritual told by S.E. Schlosser and I don’t believe it for a second. It’s a great fictional story especially for campfires or sleep overs, especially for Halloween but it’s just a story. I don’t believe in ghost. I don’t believe in witches, but I do know that murderers exist and can be viewed as monsters.
Urban…show more content… Mary became ill with diphtheria which was incurable and the doctor pronounced her dead and buried her immediately. They buried her in a wood coffin and tied a string to her wrist and threading it up through the ground and tied the other end of the bell and hooked it above the grave. If she was alive, she would wake up and ring the bell and her parents could dig up the grave. The father was concerned that the mother would get ill sitting by her graveside through the night and injected her with morphine and took her into the house. The next morning when the father went to the grave, he noticed that the bell had been rung, off the hook, and laying on the ground. He dug Mary’s grave, but he was too late. She was dead. The noticed the fingernail scratches inside of the coffin and pieces of bloody fingernail stuck in the wood. To see “Bloody Mary”, stand alone in the dark in front of a mirror and say her name three times turning around in place after each time. After the third time you will see her behind you in the mirror and she will scare you to
