There are two types of sloths. One of the two types is the two-toed sloth. The two-toed sloth is slightly bigger than the three-toed sloth, although they do share many of the same features. Their size can be from the size of a medium sized dog and can also be around 58 to 68 cm long and would usually weigh around 8 kg. Sloths use their long claws to hang on branches while the sloths eat the leaves that the other animals can't quite reach. But unfortunately for the awesome amazing sloth, their 8-10cm long claws (really really long claws) make walking on the ground very difficult, so that is usually why the sloths spend most of their time in trees. Although they do sit on top of branches, the sloths would prefer to hang, even when they eat they hang upside down or sleep, upside down and even while giving birth they will hang upside down.
