The two stores mentioned in the book have totally different groups of customer. Diamond Toy attracts more of middle and upper class sort of people, mostly live in the city or visit as a tourist. On the other hand, people who shop in Toy Warehouse are from middle or lower class family who live in the suburb. However, The toy sold in these two stores are quite similar, only the price that different. This clearly point out that pricing is not the most important factor customers concern in their decision making about where to shop but also how those shopping destination symbolize their status in the society.
