As I sit here in my hotel room in Nassau, Bahamas searching for something to share. I came across a note that I saved a few weeks back. The task of any Pastor can be an daunting task, we have to be able to week in and week out stand in front people and teach them biblical principles and truths.
It can be a hard job to say the least, so I tend to take constant notes, as I'm going about my day. As the Holy Spirit deposit these thoughts into my mind I will write them down. Sometimes they eventually turn into a sermon other times they end up in the notes graveyard.
Today I looked at a note from Sep 7, 2015 and here is what it said:

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
This may be a great strategy when it comes to physical war, but in spiritual warfare this will lead to definite defeat. I feel that it is good advice to know your, but knowing yourself in a spiritual battle will do you know good. This quote should say "Know thy enemy, but Know thy GOD is stronger."
The Good News today is that Satan is a defeated foe! The problem with many believers is that we either overesimate satan’s power or underesimate his power. This means that we know the GOD has all the power, but also HE does test us through satan (see Job
