The watsons go to birmingham is a book about a young boy named kenny whose family lives in flint michigan, his older brother byron who is a juvenile delinquent causes to much trouble so the parents wilona and dANIEL decide to take him down to birmingham to spend some time with wilonas mom. Byron tells stories to kenny and makes him believe them, one day the daughter of wilona and daniel named joetta nicknamed joey was at church when it got bombed. luckily she survived. this book is very interesting it takes place in the 60’s kenny the main character and the narrator and his brother byron and sister joey momma wilona and daddy danie. But there is also rufus one of kenny's friends who takes dinosaurs from him,
