Pacifica Northwest from Gravity Falls can be easily identified as the “Evil Figure with the Ultimately Good Heart” archetype, also known as “The Redeemable” archetype. She was first introduced as Mabel’s rival, and the audience believed her to be, in Mabel’s words, a “walking, one-dimensional, bleach-blonde, valley girl stereotype.” Pacifica was mean, rude, snotty, and rich. When she first started to get more character development, it was Mabel who made her think that maybe winning wasn’t everything, and she had begun the track of becoming a better person. When she did actually become a better person, it was because Dipper taught her that she did not have to act like her parents, who believed that winning and looks were everything
