Although the story of Irraweka, Mischief Maker doesn’t entail the heroic tale of a hero slaying a monster, many other elements of it definitely classifies as such found in a much. Myths push the boundaries of what we know as reality; in the story of Irraweka, only one of the characters was human, and the rest were all animals, even parts of nature like the stream, yet they all understood and spoke to each other. This introduces the element of setting, introducing us to the world where humans and animals co-existed in a way that they understood one another using speech, unlike in reality, where humans and animals cannot talk to each other.
