The most interesting part from last week was The Buddha documentary. I have never delved deeply into Buddhism but I have always found it fascinating. I particularly loved the imagery they used throughout Siddhartha's journey to enlightenment. There were two things that resonated with me and made me think of Dr. McDowell's videos from Week 3. The first was when Siddhartha finally saw the real world and he wondered why there would be so much suffering in this world. That is a question that many of us have been asked or even asked ourselves. The quest to understand or make sense of pain and suffering in this world transcends all religions.
